New Tea Shop on the Upper West Side

As you walk around the Upper West Side near The Sagamore you will see an abundance of coffee shops. From Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and other local privately own shopped, residents are never short of their choices when it comes to coffee. What about tea though? While tea can be found at many of these places, there aren’t many shops specifically dedicated to the drink. Upper West Siders don’t need to worry anymore, as T2 is now open for business!

Located a quick subway ride downtown from The Sagamore, T2 is on 69th Street and Columbus Avenue. This Australian Tea Shop features over 200 different varieties of tea. Some of the different tea blends they sell include breakfast tea, oolong, green, black, herbal and more. Teas can be purchased in both loose leaf form as well as tea bags.

Some of the top selling teas from this shop include Lemongrass and Ginger loose leaf tea, New York Breakfast, Chai, French Earl Grey, Jade Mountain and Fruitalicious. In addition to all of their yummy teas, the shop also sells several different tea accessories. Gift packages combining tea mugs, ceramic glasses and an assortment of different teas are available if you are stumped on what to get someone for a special occasion. On the go mugs, sauces and more are available in the gift section as well.
