NYC Waterfront  Restaurants

Every restaurant in NYC has something to offer and almost all have great drinks and foods making for the perfect night out with friends and family. Our Sagamore residents on the Upper West Side are close by to the shores of the Hudson River where there are plenty of waterfront eateries to choose from. Here are some close by that make for a great outdoor dining experience during the summer months.

Boat Basin: Located a few avenues west, Boat basin is a Upper West Side favorite that has been in the neighborhood for years. When you walk down to the main eatery, you are greeted by stone archways leading to the back porch that sits the outdoor seating area. Views overlook the marina, New Jersey and up state on the Hudson. No seat is a bad seat in this place! Even the indoor covered area has no full enclosures, so you can always enjoy the summer breeze when dining there. Menu favorites include their burger, grilled chicken or one of many seafood dishes. They don’t take reservations so make sure to plan ahead and arrive early.

Pier i Cafe: Pier i Cafe is just a few blocks downtown on 70th street at Riverside Park. This casual dining scene features umbrellas shading outdoor dining tables that align along the patio with views of the Hudson. Stop by for Breakfast and enjoy a weekend summer morning and end your week with a pleasant treat and sit on the deck as you watch the sunset. They have menus and options for any occasion! Take a look at their website to learn more about the venue and their main menus.
