Uncategorized

After a long winter, it’s finally time to enjoy warmer weather here on the Upper West Side! Even though we live in a bustling downtown, we’re lucky to also have lots of green space in the area that’s perfect for biking, running, hiking and celebrating Earth Day on April 22.

This Earth Day, head out to our local parks and bask in the sunshine, see the beautiful trees and foliage and celebrate all we have to enjoy here in the Garden State – all just within a few minutes from your Sagamore apartment.

Theodore Roosevelt Park, located at 200 Central Park West, New York, NY which is a four minute drive from your Sagamore apartment, is a park that surrounds the American Museum of Natural History with paths, grassy areas and a dog run.

Rated one of the top five small parks in New York City, Roosevelt Park has something for everyone, including their rose garden, Nobel Monument and wide array of foliage, which has a new color in bloom for every season.

Riverside Park, located at 475 Riverside Dr., New York NY which is a 10 minute drive from your Sagamore apartment, is a storied multilevel park with elms and rocky outcrops, plus a long boulevard and multiple playgrounds.

Riverside Park is Manhattan’s most spectacular waterfront park, stretching four miles from 72nd to 158th Streets along the Hudson River. Since 1875, the landscapes of Frederick Law Olmsted have offered escape from the city and opportunities for people of all incomes to relax, play and socialize in tranquil settings.
