The café originated on the former site of the Brennen Mansion on the street between West End Ave. and Broadway known as Edgar Allen Poe Street. Poe himself resided there at which time he wrote his famous poem, the Raven.

Joe Coffee Company, located at 514 Columbus Ave, New York which is a seven minute walk from your Sagamore apartment, is a coffee spot offering free-trade brews, baked goods, classes and catering in a buzzy modern space.
