Spring is in full bloom and so is the springtime holiday season. Passover is just around the corner falling at the beginning of the month of April. If you have family coming into town or cooked during the winter holidays and are looking to go out and enjoy the warmer weather, you can choose from several local eateries around The Upper West Side for that special holiday meal. Here are some suggestions for our residents that are close by to The Sagamore for Passover dinner!
Talia’s Steakhouse: This local spot on 93rd Street will be serving Seder dinner both nights of Passover. Known for its fantastic glatt kosher cuisine, Tala’s will live up to their highly praised reputation for the Passover holiday. Main course will include Haggadahs, Seder plate, Matzah, Sweet wine/grape juice for Kiddush. The bar will also all be kosher. You can learn more and make reservations by visiting their website.
Le Marais: Located just a short trip from The Sagamore on 46th Street, Le Marias will have a full special menu for Passover. The menu will feature dishes such as chicken braised in white wine, steak with shallot sauce, veal roast with a mushroom sauce and much more. My Most Favorite: This dual restaurant and bakery is located in the heart of The Upper West Side on 72nd Street, and will be serving Passover specials for the duration of the holiday. Starting early in the morning with their breakfast menu, sop by for some fresh fruit and matzo brei to start the day. For lunch and dinner menu offerings include Orange Glazed Salmon, Red Snapper and Spaghetti Squash Primavera. As for the bakery, they will be serving special and delicious tarts, cakes and cookies for the holiday.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Restaurants all around NYC will be celebrating by offering special menus and taking reservations so you can share a wonderful meal with that special someone. If you are still finalizing plans for this special day, there are plenty of local restaurants around the Upper West Side that are still taking reservations. Here are a few suggestions for our Sagamore residents where you can have your Valentine’s Day meal this year.
Nobu 57: Make your way downtown to 57th Street and enjoy Valentine’s Day at Nobu 57th. This romantic spot is located right on the water and is just a short trip from the Sagamore. Nobu will have a special menu for February 14th. The perfect choice if you are looking for a seafood dinner, menu items will include Yellowtail Tartar, Toro Sashimi Salad, King Salmon Pastrami Yuzu Honey, Lobster and their specialty homemade yogurt for dessert. Bar Boulud: Experience some romantic French cuisine Valentine’s Day by making a reservation at Bar Boulud. This spot will offer a pre-fixed menu for Valentine’s Day dinner. In addition to the special menu and price there will be dishes served at the perfect portion size for two. Mushroom Velouté, East Coast Oysters and Beet Salad will all be on the menu for the first course. Enjoy Hand-Rolled Potato Gnocchi, Lobster Rizzoto, Duck Breast a L’orange, or Braised Lamb Shank for the main course and top it off with one of their delectable desserts. Art Cafe: Newly renovated, Arte Cafe is located on the Upper West Side on 73rd Street. Their Valentine’s Day menu includes almost anything you can think of off the grill with two side dishes of your choice. You can also enjoy one of their pasta dishes such as the Rigattoni Polo Pazzo and Fettuchini Al Tartufo. Pizza, antipasta and parmesan dishes are also included.
