Explore New York City’s September Fall Festivals

Fall season is here and there are several wonderful festivals taking place around New York City’s boroughs to celebrate this time of year. Our residents at The Sagamore are not too far from everything happening around New York City. Venture away from the Upper West Side into Brooklyn or maybe Queens for some fall fun!

Flatbush Frolic: Flatbush Frolic will take place on September 25th. This street fair is a tradition of this New York City neighborhood and has been taking place for over 40 years! Over 150 vendors will be in attendance selling goods and food from local eateries. There will also be plenty of live music, crafting stations, a pizza eating contest, and rides and games. There will also be a beer garden featured this year! For more information you can visit the event’s page and for directions!

World Science Festival: Head over to Queens to get your fill of technology and science! This free event will feature exhibitions, demonstrations and activities all focused around science! The City of Science event is free and geared to the interests of both adults and children. Visitors will learn to bounce a ball into orbit, conduct a symphony using only tubes and much more! Several activities will also be taking place in the Liberty Science Center NY Hall of Science. To find out more about this unique science festival just a subway ride away from The Sagamore, visit their website.
Jazz Festival: Jazz at Lincoln Center will be hosting their annual Coca-Cola Generations in Jazz Festival  this month!
