It’s that time of year again… pumpkin is everywhere, and that includes in our beers! If you want to get your own taste of fall beers, whether they are infused with pumpkin and apple or just have that distinctive Oktoberfest taste, you can check out these breweries located near your Sagamore apartment.

Luckily, here on the Upper West Side, beer lovers don’t have to venture too far to get a taste of craft beer that’s made onsite and is ready to drink fresh from the taproom. This is a great way to get of taste of autumn without heading to the pumpkin patch!

Heartland Brewery, located at 127 W 43rd St, New York which is a 20 minute drive from your Sagamore apartment, is a local brewery chain with three NYC locations that offers award-winning locally brewed beer and a commitment to great food and warm, friendly service.

Serving locally brewed beer since 1955, some of Heartland Brewery’s fall beers include their Smiling Pumpkin Ale made with honey-roasted pumpkins and simmered with ginger, cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg as well as their Oktoberfest with sweet caramel malts and spicy complexities of German Noble hops.

Death Ave, located at 315 10th Ave, New York which is 20 minutes from your Sagamore apartment, is a rustic-chic spot with a comfy rear patio offering Greek-style food, cocktails and house-brewed beers.

They have two bars here to choose from – one is more casual and the other is more refined, but both proudly serve their brewed on premise beers, eclectic wines and their cask aged cocktails while playing tasteful lounge music.

Unwind At One of These Upper West Side Coffee and Tea Shops

One of the many joys of the fall is unwinding in a nice, warm café with a steaming cup of coffee or tea and a comforting pastry. Here on the Upper West Side, we have tons of options for that – there are lots of cafes near your Sagamore apartment to enjoy!
