With the holidays approaching quickly there are plenty of things to do around the city where you are out and about all day long and need to grab a bite to eat before heading back to your Sagamore apartment. There are several new eateries that have opened within the last few weeks around the Upper West Side you can try! Here are some new spots to grab brunch, lunch or dinner close by.
Serafina: While there is one located on 77th street, a new location has opened on 105th and Broadway. With a slightly larger space, this new location will serve all of Serafina’s full menu. You can try one of their many pasta dishes, dive into a bowl of risotto or try their famous pizza. You can see their full menu listed on the website under this new location!
Lucciola: Another Italian eatery will be opening its doors on the Upper West Side on November 29th! This new restaurant will be open for brunch and dinner daily. Inspired by an Italian film and fireflies (the meaning of Lucciola in Italian), this new spot is just minutes from The Sagamore on 90th and Amsterdam. Grab a first taste and see what their menu is all about at their opening. There will be complimentary appetizers and a wine tasting starting at 6pm on the 29th. They are still working on setting up their website, but you can check out their Facebook page for updates. Take a trip over if you are craving some authentic Italian Cuisine!
Prelude Café & Bar: If you are looking to grab something quick during a busy shopping day on the Upper West Side, a new Cafe has opened in Lincoln Center. Menu items will include soup, salads, pastries, sandwiches and some larger entrees. Of course, there will be plenty of coffee and espresso drinks served throughout the day as well. Try their unique mixes such as the Nespresso Cantata, Nespresso Espresso, blood orange soda, over ice or Nespresso Leggero, Nespresso Espresso, Kahlua, coconut water.
