Fall in Love with the Upper West Side

Leaves are falling, schools are back in session, wardrobes are shifting and the pumpkin spice latte has made its debut at the Starbucks on every NYC corner! It’s crazy to think fall has already rolled in, even if the weather may not quite agree with us this week.

The Upper West Side has a bit to boast during the new season and we want our residents at the Sagamore to be up to date with all the great new things in our area this September; a new (highly-rated) bar, homemade pumpkin spice lattes, fall desserts, and more!

Emack and Bolio’s Ice Cream: 389 Amsterdam Ave
Grab some Pumpkin Pie ice cream while this September while we teeter between Indian summer and autumn weather. Stay cool with a bunch of unique different fall treats at Emack and Bolio’s; they have special microbrew sodas, homemade fudge, smoothies, and more! Bring a date or make it a friends outing, this local place will not disappoint.

Irving Farm Coffee Roasters: 224 W 79th St.
According to Four Square and our residents, this is the highest-rated coffee house on the UWS. Try their fall lattes or dirty chais – both are great and will top any Starbucks concoction without the line!

Whole Foods Beer on Tap: 10 Columbus Circle
A Whole Foods with beer?! We really do love our neighborhood. Enjoy locally crafted beer or wine and have a chat with the Whole Food’s bartender about its flavor and history. This Whole Foods location near us has a pumpkin pie beer cocktail, a must-try this season!

Manhattan Brew & Vine: 109th and Columbus Ave
A new wine and craft beer bar just opened its doors for business not too far form us in the Upper UPPER West Side. The lounge will have nightly DJs and a crowd that’s still pretty under the radar since they’re new to the area. Manhattan Brew & Vine doesn’t have a website yet, but their chef and customer service have been raved about – go check it out and see what the fuss is about!
